Remembering Wanda Cordero

August 11, 2020 It is with great regret and sadness that National Shipping of America advises our customers of the untimely passing of Wanda Cordero, our beloved Customer Service Manager in Jacksonville, Florida.

Wanda suffered a stroke on Monday and passed that evening. Words cannot begin to describe Wanda’s contribution to NSA.  She was with us from day one, May 2013, when we started the Puerto Rico service.

If there was ever an individual who could be called indispensable, it would be Wanda. She was the wisest in the room and best described by one of our customers, “As usual, willing to push the boat by herself”.

Her uncanny grasp to the details in our business and her genuine customer intimacy, earned her the nickname by her peers – Wanda Woman!

Today is an incredibly sad day for all of us. Our heavy hearts go out to her close friends and family. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Wanda touched many people in her successful career. We were fortunate to have the pleasure of working with such a wonderful individual.

A todos nos aflige ésta gran pérdida.

Sincerely,
Wanda’s Family at National Shipping of America

I feel like I lost someone from my family. As a customer I always found on Wanda the understanding and support that I need each time. She knew what a well job done is all about. She always be in my memories.
