Update #2 - Port Closures
Tuesday August 25, 2020 – National Shipping of America (NSA) continues to closely watch the weather situation in the Gulf of Mexico and its effect on port operations. Marco made landfall yesterday and had no impact on Houston and Jacinto Port operations.
Hurricane Laura continues moving in a northwest direction towards the gulf and expected to make landfall tomorrow night, prompting the closure of the Houston Channel today at 2:00 CST, except for outbound vessels. Jacinto Port is closing tomorrow, Wednesday, 8/26 and possibly, Thursday, 8/27.
National Glory, voyage 186 remains on scheduled to arrive in Houston on Tuesday, 9/01 cargo available the following day.
