Trade Notification: Due to the erratic fuel market between March and May, the cost difference between high sulfur and low sulfur fuels has narrowed. In view of the decrease in the spread, National Shipping will reduce our IMO2020 charge.

Effective June 1^st 2020, voyage 181, per the general contract terms of your current service contract, the IMO fuel surcharge will be reduced from $115 per container to $45 per container. We will review this charge every 90 days.

National Shipping is the only carrier serving Puerto Rico from Houston, Texas. We provide fortnightly service with US Flag, Jones Act endorsed, National Glory. The MV National Glory (570 teu container ship), sails every other Wednesday night from the port of  Houston, arriving the following Wednesday morning in San Juan with cargo availability the same day.
