National Shipping of America would like to advise our valued customers of a bunker charge increase on southbound cargo between the United States and Puerto Rico effective July 1, 2022.
The unexpected rise in our fuel cost have increased another 33% from the second quarter. To put things in perspective, the price of fuel has increased 66% since January 1, 2022.
The third quarter bunker charge will increase from $1275/container to $1475/container.
We are continually monitoring the situation and will make the necessary adjustments quarterly as per
our tariff.
