Dear Customers and Partners:

There is an important change in our service policy regarding chassis availability with National Shipping of America in Houston, Texas.

Effective March 1, 2026, National Shipping of America will no longer provide chassis for customers’ use at the Jacintoport terminal in Houston.

As in the past, we have maintained a fleet of chassis at our terminal for rental to your truckers. This adjustment means that all import and export shipments moving forward will require customers to arrange their own chassis through third-party providers or leasing companies.

Typically, your truckers either operate a fleet of chassis or lease chassis on your behalf. There are ample chassis available in the Houston market.

If you require National Shipping to perform your trucking under door pick-up or door drop-off terms, we will provide transportation, which includes the use of a chassis.

Chassis procurement and associated costs will now be the responsibility of the customer.

Our team is available to provide guidance on reliable chassis providers, if required.
