Dear Valued Customer,

At National Shipping of America, we continuously seek ways to enhance service reliability and improve cargo handling efficiency. To better manage shipments at the San Juan terminal and streamline the release process, Destination Terminal Handling Charges (DTHC) will now be billed directly on your freight invoice.

This change eliminates the need to process shipments through Levanta, allowing faster and more efficient cargo release.

Effective with Voyage 327SB on May 5, 2026
Destination Terminal Handling Charge (DTHC): $86

The DTHC includes the following:

• Terminal Maintenance Fee
• Security Fee
• Fuel Recovery Surcharge
• Systems Fee
• Infrastructure Fee

Additional charges may apply:

• Hazardous Material Handling Fee: $40 (if applicable)
• MAM Chassis Rental Fee: $30 (up to two days, if applicable)
• Gate Trouble Transaction Fee: $40 (if applicable)
